Pune : Rickshaw and Tempo Vandalised in Katraj Area; Ambegaon Police Arrest Two Accused
Pune : In the jurisdiction of Ambegaon Police Station, on 26 November 2025 at around 2:00 AM, rickshaws and tempos parked near Atal 12, Saccahi Mata Temple, Katraj, were vandalised using a sharp weapon. In connection with the incident, the police arrested Nitesh Nitin Sawane (age 25, occupation – rickshaw driver) and Ajay Namdev Khandagale (age 19, occupation – centering worker), both residents of Atal 11, near Dange Babi Mill, Saccahi Mata, Netaji Mitra Mandal, Ambegaon Khurd, Pune.
Both accused are cousins (maternal side). Following a dispute between them, one of the accused damaged the parked rickshaws and tempos. The Ambegaon police took swift action and arrested both individuals.
