Pune: Serial Housebreaker Arrested; Stolen Goods Worth ₹7 Lakh Seized by Pimpri-Chinchwad Crime Branch

Pune: The Crime Branch Unit 1 of Pimpri-Chinchwad Police has arrested a seasoned housebreaker who targeted locked homes, recovering nearly ₹7 lakh worth of stolen valuables from him.

The arrested accused has been identified as Dhananjay Harish Kale (29). Police received a tip-off that he was arriving in the Nigdi Pradhikaran area to sell stolen jewellery, leading to his swift arrest.

His associates Chandrakant Ananta Mane and Sunil Malhari Talware are currently on the run, and police are actively searching for them.

Investigations reveal that the trio has committed multiple thefts in the Sangvi and Nigdi police station limits and has been involved in 50–60 theft cases across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and various districts of Maharashtra.
