Pune: Shivsena (UBT) Party to Take ‘Karyakarta Melava’ in Pune on August 3
Pune: In view of the upcoming Vidhan Sabha election, which is expected to take place in October and November of this year, all parties in the state have started their preparation. Recently, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) held a party workers meet in Pune’s Balewadi area to guide officials and party members about the Vidhan Sabha election preparation.
Similarly, the Shivsena (UBT) group is also holding a party workers meet in Pune on August 3. Though Mahavikas Aaghadi is expected to contest the election unitedly, all the parties are taking reviews about assembly constituencies, their strengths, and guiding party workers. Therefore, in order to devise a strategy for contesting the election in Pune, the Shivsena UBT faction is taking a party workers meet in Pune.
The Shivsena (UBT) faction is expected to claim Kasba, Hadapsar, and Kothrud assembly constituencies to contest in the assembly elections. Accordingly, the strength of the party will be reviewed in this meet, and activists will be guided. In the backdrop of this meeting, various leaders will make a strong show of strength in the city. For this, preparations have already started in the city.
Though the exact location for this meet has not been finalised, it is expected to take place in the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch. In the recently concluded party workers meeting of the BJP, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Deputy Chief Minister of the State Devendra Fadnavis made harsh criticism on Uddhav Thackeray. Amit Shah referred to Uddhav Thackeray as ‘Aurangzeb Fan Club’.Therefore, it will be interesting to see how Uddhav Thackeray will respond to this through this meeting.
