Pune: Shocking Machete Attack on Young Engineer in Bibvewadi for Staring Angrily; Bibvewadi Police Arrest Two, Including Minor

In a shocking incident, two people, including a minor boy, attacked a young engineer with a machete on the futile reason of looking at them angrily. Further, they also tried to kill the individual’s friend by hitting him on the head and legs with a machete. In this argument, the victim’s hand’s palmer side was broken from the wrist, and he sustained heavy injuries.
The name of the individual who was injured is Piyush Pachkudke (age 22), and he is an engineer by profession. In this regard, Gaurav Rajesh Markad (age 24, a resident of Super Indira Nagar, Bibvewadi) has lodged a complaint at Bibvewadi Police Station.
Based on the complaint, the police have arrested Sagar Saroj (age 21, a resident of Wadki Nala) and his minor accomplices. The incident took place at Shivtej Krida Sangh Chowk in Super Indira Nagar, Bibvewadi, on Monday evening at 4:30 p.m.
As per the police information, the accused had called the plaintiff, Gaurav Markad, and his friend, Piyush Pachkudke, at Shivtej Krida Sangh Chowk on Monday. When both came at the Shivtej Krida Sangh Chowk, the duo accused unleashed a violent machete attack on them. In the subsequent fight, Piyush’s right hand’s palmar side was separated from his hand.
The accused also injured him by attacking him with a machete on his head and legs. Further, the accused attempted to kill Gaurav by assaulting him on his head and shoulder. The police crime inspector, Manojkumar Londhe, is investigating further in this case.
Last year, in May 2023, a similar incident had taken place, where a young man was attacked by a few individuals with a machete, and his palm was broken due to a minor dispute in Sukhsagar Nagar, Bibvewadi. Fortunately, doctors performed immediate surgery and reattached the individual’s broken hand from the wrist.
