Pune: ‘Shri Ganesh Ratna Rath’ to carry Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Bappa during immersion procession; Procession to start at 6 pm

Pune: Hindustan’s First Ganpati Mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust will join the immersion procession in the attractively decorated special chariot ‘Shri Ganesh Ratna Rath’. The mandal will start its immersion procession at 6 pm from Tilak statue at Mandai. This was revealed by Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust Trustee and Celebration Chief Punit Balan.
Giving details about Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati’s immersion procession, Celebration Chief Punit Balan said, “Like every year, this year’s Bappa’s immersion procession will be eye-catching. DCP Krushikesh Rawale will conduct Bappa’s pooja at 7.30 am on Anant Chaturdashi. At 8 am, the idol will be brought out from Ratna Mahal and will be carried on ‘Shri Ganesh Ratna Rath’ towards Mandai. It will join the immersion procession from Tilak statue at Mandai.
“As per the annual tradition, all Five Manache Ganpati will be garlanded on behalf of Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust. Later, the Manache Ganpati will be immersed throughout the day. At 6 pm, the scheduled time decided by the police administration, Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Bappa’s ‘Shri Ganesh Ratna Rath’ will start its glorious immersion procession. ‘Shri Ganesh Ratna Rath’ has been attractively decorated. Shriram and Ramanbaug Dhol-Tasha patahks will perform in front of the chariot. Later, the pooja idol will be immersed at 11 pm at Panchaleshwar Ghat.”
Balan said that they intended to complete the procession before the deadline by adhering to the guidelines prescribed by the police department.
