Pune : Such acts will not be tolerated: Ajit Pawar to Baburao Chandere (Videos)
Pune: NCP (AP) leader and DyCM Ajit Pawar’s close aide Baburao Chandere has invited a controversy. Chandere beat up a citizen in Pune on Saturday (January 25). A video clip of the incident went viral on social media. The person was injured. Now, action has been taken in the matter.
An offence has been registered against Chandere at the Bavdhan Police Station. Chandere has been inviting flak for such acts. Ajit Pawar also reacted to this. He said, “The incident was unfortunate. Nobody should take the law into their hands. I tried calling up Chandere but his mobile phone was switched off. I told his son that I did not like his father’s conduct. The NCP (AP) will not tolerate such things. I will summon and warn him. If a complaint is lodged, action will be taken.”
It remains to be seen what action the police would take.
