Pune: Sunil Tingre’s Padyatra in Vadgaon Sheri Draws Massive Crowd, Wears Appearance of ‘Winning Rally’

The Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency is gearing up for a high-stakes electoral battle as incumbent MLA Sunil Tingre from the Nationalist Congress Party takes on Bapusaheb Pathare from the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction). With both candidates entrenched in vigorous campaigning, the contest has sparked notable excitement in the constituency.
In an effort to rally support, a large-scale padyatra was organised for Mahayuti candidate Sunil Tingre in the Lohegaon area. The procession featured a grand reception, with women marching in solidarity, Tingre arriving in a beautifully decorated bullock cart, and flowers showering over him at various stops.
Interacting with the community along the way, Tingre expressed gratitude for the impressive turnout, saying, “The overwhelming response shows people’s appreciation for the significant development seen in Vadgaon Sheri. This feels like my winning rally.”
The padyatra saw participation from prominent leaders, including Union Minister of State Muralidhar Mohol, former MLA Jagdish Mulik, former Speaker Pandurang Appa Khese, Suraj Chavan, Karegaon Sarpanch Nirmala Navale, along with numerous residents of Lohegaon.
