Pune: Survey reveals setback for BJP in Parvati, Khadakwasla and Cantonment Assembly segments

Pune: Findings of a pre-poll survey have revealed that concrete development work was not carried out in Assembly constituencies by BJP MLAs. Get-togethers of dalits and meetings regarding the Ladki Bahin Yojana were not held in the segments in spite of instructions. Therefore, the State leadership is not happy with their performance.
This has particularly happened in three Assembly seats: Parvati, Khadakwasla and Cantonment. A survey conducted by the State Unit of the BJP has revealed that the BJP will suffer due to the anti-incumbency factor.
The party is likely to review segments, where there is a possibility of anti-incumbency. The Parvati segment tops the list of such seats. An organisation associated with the BJP also conducted a survey and found the Parvati segment vulnerable.
