Pune: Swargate Police Booked Individual for Deliberately Crushing Dog Under Car

In a deliberate act of driving the personal Mercedes-Benz car over the dog and killing it, the police have registered a complaint against the car driver. In this regard, Padmini Peter Stump (age 65, a resident of Bhavani Peth), lodged a complaint at Swargate Police Station.
From this, the police have registered a case against the car driver, Sachin Katariya, under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The incident took place at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday in front of Eva’s Grace Hotel near Poornima Tower in Swargate.
As per the police complaint, the accused, Sachin Katariya, has an office in Poornima Tower at Swargate. While going to the office, Katariya deliberately drove his car over Arun Pawar’s dog and killed it. In this regard, the Assistant Police Inspector Rahul Kolambikar is investigating further.
