Pune: Swift Action by Wagholi Police! Stolen 280 Lenovo Laptops Worth Rs 1 Crore Recovered, Three Arrested

A few days ago, 280 laptops of the Lenovo company worth Rs 1 crore and 9 lakh were stolen from ARCLINE Logistics and Warehousing godown. In this regard, the Wagholi police have managed to crack the crime within just three days. In the subsequent police investigation, it has been revealed that a helper working in this warehouse has committed this theft with the help of his other accomplice.
In this regard, the police have arrested Suresh Mahadev Kumar (age 35, a resident of Ubale Nagar, Wagholi, and an original native of Sahajpur, Uttar Pradesh), Shivaji Jagannath Vasu (age 27, a resident of Dhanegaon, Taluka Gangapur, District Sambhaji Nagar), and Kumud Ranjan Jha (age 32, a resident of Priyanka Nagar, Wagholi).
On October 15, the manager of the company, Balkrishna Sakharam Raut, lodged a complaint of laptop theft at the police station. While filing the complaint, Raut raised suspicion on his ex-employee, Suresh Kumar, as he quit his job over the reason of less salary just three days before the theft.
According to a technical analysis conducted by Police Ammaldar Ajit Farande and information received by Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad through his informant, the police sent a team to Walunj MIDC in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. Accordingly, they detained three people. After that, it was found that Suresh Kumar had committed the theft with the help of his accomplice Tejprakash. Currently, Tejprakash is at large, and police are searching for him.
By connecting the link of technical analysis based on the information received from these three, the police seized a total of 244 laptops of the Lenovo company, 2 pickup vans, and 3 mobiles worth Rs. 1 crore, 1 lakh, and 25 thousand from nine people of different locations. When presented before the court, the court has sentenced the three accused to police custody for 3 days.

This action has been taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Pandit Rejitwad, Assistant Police Inspector Shirish Bhalerao, Yogesh Khatke, Police Ammaldar Ajit Farande of Lonikand Police Station, Swapnil Jadhav, Amol Dhone, Constable Sandeep Tikone of Wagholi Police Station, Police Ammaldar Vishal Gaikwad, Balasaheb Haral, Sagar Kadu, Ganesh Awhale, Deepak Kokare, Pritam Wagh, and Gahininath Boyane under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Pranjali Sonawane.
