Pune: Tadipar Criminal Injured in Machete Attack in Bibvewadi; Police Booked Six

Pune: A Tadipar accused has been injured by a gang of six people when he was attempting to rob an ATM centre. This incident took place near the Mayur Sweets in front of Archana Terrace Society at 11.30 p.m. on Saturday.

In this regard, Mayur Satish Pawar (age 33), a resident of Yugm complex, Bibvewadi, has filed a complaint at Bibvewadi Police Station. Accordingly, police lodged a complaint against Shubham Dhotre, Samyak Kamble, Dhiraj Korke, and three of their accomplices.

As per the police information, the injured Nilesh Kudale was one of the accused in the stone-pelting case in Bibwewadi. In this case, the accused, Nilesh Kudale, was declared Tadipar by Pune Police. In spite of that, Nilesh arrived in front of the Archana Terrace Society, along with Mauli Sasane and Ashish Sutar, at 11.30 p.m. on Saturday to rob an ATM centre.

At that time, Nilesh’s old rivals, Samyak Kamble and Dhiraj Korke, stopped him. In the subsequent argument between them, Shubham Dhotre injured Nilesh Kudale by hitting the machete on his left leg. Further, other accomplices of Shubham Dhotre assaulted Mauli Sasane and Ashish Sutar.

On getting information about the incident, Assistant Police Inspector Nikam, Senior Police Inspector Modhwe, and Police Inspector Khilare visited the spot. Meanwhile, PSI Jadhav is conducting further investigation into the case.
