Pune: Temperature may drop in Maharashtra in a couple of days: IMD
Pune: The mercury dropped on Friday (December 3). Therefore, cold weather conditions returned after a couple of weeks. In some parts of Maharashtra, temperatures dropped up to 10 degrees Celsius.
Pune recorded a minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius. The IMD has predicted further dip in temperature in a couple of days. The lowest minimum temperature was reported in Gondia at 8.8 degrees Celsius. Many parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada and western Maharashtra shivered. Temperatures were fluctuating in North India.
In South India, maximum temperatures are likely to remain stable while minimum temperatures could drop in North India. Foggy conditions prevailed in some parts of Maharashtra in the morning. The mercury is likely to decrease by 3-4 degrees Celsius in Maharashtra, predicted the IMD.
