Pune: The Bhises reject DyCM Eknath Shinde’s financial aid

Pune: The family of deceased pregnant woman Tanisha Bhise has rejected a financial aid offered by DyCM Eknath Shinde. Sushant Bhise, husband of the deceased, refused to accept the help. Shinde offered Rs 5 lakh to the family of the woman.

Earlier, they rejected Rs 1 lakh aid offered by State Minister Chandrakant Patil.

The Bhises demand action

The Shiv Sena Medical Help Cell’s Mangesh Chivate met the Bhises. He offered Rs 5 lakh to them but the latter said that they did not want money and sought action against errant officials from Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital.

Many people offered financial help to the pregnant woman’s family after her death. But her family said that they did not need money but efforts should be made to avoid similar incidents in the future. Though the errant doctor resigned from his post, action was sought against errant officials by the Bhises.
