Pune: The Person Was Threw into the Indrayani River After Killing Him With Stone; Police Recovered Dead Body from River

Pune: It has been learnt that the dead body found in the Indrayani River has been murdered. It is clear that the deceased person was killed by hitting him on the head and face with a stone, and the body was thrown in the river to destroy the evidence.

In this regard, Police Sub-Inspector Deepak Sayaji Rahane has filed a complaint at Dighi Police Station.

According to the information given by the police, a dead body was found in the Indrayani River in front of Indrayani Street No. 4 on Wednesday at 3 p.m. After getting information about it, the police took the body out of the river bed and sent it for an autopsy.

Accordingly, doctors confirmed that the person died after being heated with stones on his head and face. According to the autopsy report, the victim is about 40 to 45 years old. However, his identity has not yet been revealed.
The police have registered a case of murder against the unknown person in this case, and Assistant Police Inspector Bhamre is investigating the case.
