Pune: Three Drunk Individuals Snatched Three Mobiles, Abducted Two Under the Influence of Alcohol; Police Detained Trio Within an Hour

In a minor argument between the people, three people took away the mobile phone of three individuals and abducted two of them by putting them in an Omni car. In a significant action, the Sinhagad Road police found these individuals and arrested them within an hour.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Sagar Sunil Shirole (age 34, a resident of Bhim Nagar, Uttam Nagar), Gajanan Vilas More (age 29, a resident of Dhayari), and Viraj Shantaram Bhosale (age 26, a resident of Warje Malwadi).

The incident took place on January 3, between 2 and 4 a.m., near Omkar Lodge on Pune Satara Highway. An 18-year-old individual from Lonand has filed a complaint with the Sinhagad Road Police in this regard.

According to the police, the complainant and his friend were walking on foot near Omkar Lodge in Narhe on Satara Road. At that time, three men who came in an Omni car detained Jatin and Amin and forcibly snatched away three mobile phones from them. These individuals assaulted them with their hands, abused them, threatened them, and kidnapped them by forcibly putting them in the Omni car.

After travelling some distance, they left Jatin somewhere on the road and absconded with Amin. After receiving information about the incident, the police tracked them down and arrested all of them. The court has remanded the trio in police custody till November 6 for further investigation. Police Sub-Inspector Sagar Pawar is investigating further in this case.
