Pune: Three Men Attempt to Kill Suspected Police Informant in Kondhwa

Pune: On suspicion of being an informant of the police and from the anger of showing the house of their friends to the police, three people attempted to kill an individual by assaulting him with a machete. Further, the accused created terror by brandishing machetes in the air. This incident took place in front of the gate of the Konark Pooram Society of Mitha Nagar at around 8.30 p.m. on July 26.

In this regard, Mahammad Pyare Sheikh (age 27, a resident of Kondhwa) has filed a complaint at Kondhwa police station. Accordingly, police booked Arbaaz, alias Lab, and his two accomplices under the charges of attempted murder.

As per the police information, Mahammad Sheikh was standing in front of the gate of Konark Pooram Society on July 26. At that time, Arbaaz came there along with his two accomplices and started abusing Mahammad. Arbaaz confronted the Mahammad for informing his friends’ location to the police. On this, two accomplices of the accused started assaulting the plaintiff.

Two accused beat the accused with hands and legs. When the plaintiff started screaming, the neighbouring people came to Mahammad’s help. However, the accused also threatened them against coming to Mahammad’s help. In this case, Rajesh Usgaonkar is conducting further investigation.
