Pune : Three Notorious Criminals Arrested for Terrorizing Public with Machetes in Solapur Bazaar

Pune: The Lashkar Police have arrested three habitual offenders who were roaming in Solapur Bazaar’s Marwadi Galli late at night, threatening residents with machetes and abusing passersby to create fear and panic.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rahul Pramod Pawar (20), Viraj Satish Gade (21), and Ansh Nitesh Kharat (22), all residents of Solapur Bazaar, Camp.

The incident occurred around 12:15 am on November 15 in Marwadi Galli. Police Constable Atul Dnyaneshwar Menge lodged a complaint at the Lashkar Police Station.

According to police, PSI Rahul Ghadge and his team were conducting combing duty and patrolling in the Solapur Bazaar area when they spotted the trio brandishing sharp machetes, shouting abuses, and threatening locals, saying, “Whoever messes with us, we will finish them.”

Pedestrians and bikers who witnessed the scene turned back in fear. When police approached them, the accused attempted to flee, but the police team chased and caught all three. A machete was seized from their possession.

Further investigation is being conducted by Constable Ganesh Koli.
