Pune: Two dog owners quarrel as one dog bites another
Pune: A petty reason is enough for two persons to flare up. Two dog owners quarrelled in the wee hours on Tuesday when one dog bit another. However, their neighbours were disturbed due to this.
According to details, the incident took place in the Magarpatta area. An American pit bull attacked another dog. This led to fisticuffs between the two dog owners. The entire episode was recorded on CCTV and a case was registered at the Hadapsar Police Station.
Residents in the Magarpatta area expressed anger over some people having aggressive dog breeds such as pit bulls. It is illegal to domesticate such breeds in India. People fear attack by such dogs. Two neighbours in Babul Garden in the area fought over the issue. A bungalow owner has an American pit bull dog, which attacked a neighbour’s dog. Some neighbours went to the pit bull owner and questioned him, which enraged women from that family, who started shouting loudly.
The incident has been recorded and the pit bull can be seen in the footage. The complaint lodged at the Hadapsar Police Station states that they are not safe in their house as such pet animals and their owners are a cause of trouble for them.
