Pune: Two Individuals Faced Police Action Under the POCSO Act for Molestation of Minor Girl
Pune: A shocking incident has come to light from Dawadi village of Khed Taluka in Pune, where two individuals tried to molest a 16-year-old minor girl by threatening to kill her. In this regard, a case under the POCSO Act has been registered against two accused.
The accused individuals have been identified as Hrithik Balasaheb Daundkar (age 19) and Nikhil Dattatray Daundkar (age 19). Both are the residents of Daundkaarwadi, Taluka Khed.
As per the information provided by the Khed police, on August 24, Hrithik Daundkar called the girl outside the house and threatened to kill her if she did not come. After that, he took the minor girl to the nearby forest and tried to molest her by taking her clothes off. In this, Nikhil Daundkar assisted him.
After understanding that the minor girl was not in the house, her parents started searching off. When Hrithik and Nikhil Daundkar learnt that her parents came to see her, they pushed the minor girl down from the vehicle and fled from the scene. In this, the minor girl got severely injured.
The incident is being further investigated by Sub-Inspector Snehal Gurav.
