Pune: Uddhav Thackeray praises Vasant More for exposing horrible conditions at Swargate bus stand

Pune: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Vasant More visited the Swargate bus stand after learning about the rape incident on its premises. He, along with Shiv sainiks, broke the security cabin at the bus stand protesting the outrageous incident.
More pointed out to the worst condition of some buses and launched a strong agitation. Party President Uddhav Thackeray patted their back by calling up More and his colleagues.
Vasant More reached the Swargate bus stand after learning about the sexual abuse of the 26-year-old woman. Addressing the media, he said, “Four broken-down buses are parked there. Numerous packets of condoms are lying in them. It indicates that such incidents must be happening daily here. MSRTC employees are involved in this. What are security guards doing here? Have they merely been appointed to open the cabin?”
As many as 23 security guards were suspended after the incident. State Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik also directed to remove old buses from the premises.
