Pune: Uttam Nagar Police Arrest 21-Year-Old Accused After Brutal Murder of Youngman in Machete Attack

Pune: In a shocking incident, the 21-year-old individual killed his friend by hitting a machete in his head. This incident took place in the Mase Ali in Uttam Nagar on Sunday around 12.30 p.m.

The murdered individual has been identified as Jaydeep Dnyaneshwar Bhondekar (age 22). In this regard, police arrested Amit Sudam Gujar (age 21, a resident of Mase Ali, Uttam Nagar).

Laxmi Dnyaneshwar Bhondekar (age 42), a resident of Gujar Complex, Uttam Nagar, lodged a complaint at Uttam Nagar Police Station. As per the police information, on Sunday, Jaydeep was sleeping at his house in the afternoon. At that time, Amit Gujar had come to his house and asked Jaydeep to come with him to pick up the burlap sack.

After some time, when the plaintiff heard a noise of people screaming, she went out of the house and saw that Jaydeep was lying in a pool of blood and the machete was near him. At that time, Jaydeep told the plaintiff that Amit Gujar injured him by hitting a machete in his head.

After that, the plaintiff took Jaydeep to Sanjeevani Hospital. However, as it was a big injury, doctors advised her to shift Jaydeep to another hospital. Meanwhile, Jaydeep succumbed to his injuries and died while receiving medical treatment in the hospital. Police lodged a complaint of attempted murder against Amit Gujar and arrested him.

Assistant Police Inspector Chavare is investigating further in the case.
