Pune: Viman Nagar Police Arrested One Accused for Illegally Entering the Airport With a Fake Airline Ticket

Pune: Viman Nagar police have arrested a 27-year-old individual for attempting to board the aeroplane with a fake ticket. In this regard, the police also booked an agent who helped him get a fake ticket for the plane.

The arrested individual has been identified as Salim Golekhan, a resident of Vidya Nagar, Chinchwad, whereas police booked Nasiruddin Khan, a resident of Nawabganj, Uttar Pradesh, for helping Salim Golekhan make a fraudulent ticket. In this regard, Tushar Vishwanath Andhare, a resident of Dhanori, filed a complaint at Vimantal police station.

While informing about the incident, the senior police inspector, Ajay Sankeshwari, said that Salim Khan’s father had come to Pune and he had a returning flight of ‘Indigo Airlines’ to Lucknow on Sunday at 2.45 a.m. Salim, who had gone to drop his father at the airport, used a fake airline ticket to enter the airport. However, after checking the PNR number of the ticket, authorities found that the ticket used by Salim was fake.

Accordingly, Indigo Airlines conveyed this news to the police, and the police arrested Salim Khan. The police have also booked the agent who helped Salim make a fake ticket.
