Pune : Ward No. 04 Padayatra Focuses on Direct Public Interaction; Citizens’ Issues Take Priority

Pune: In the backdrop of the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation general elections, a padayatra (foot march) was organised across Ward No. 04, covering areas such as Avhalwadi Road, Bajrang Nagar, Siddhi Park, Kalubai Nagar, and the Gayatri Patil Undre Housing Line. Through this outreach initiative, candidates of the BJP–RPI alliance interacted directly with residents and reviewed pressing local issues.

The padayatra was led by Surendra Bapusahaeb Pathare, along with Ward No. 04 candidates Shailjit Jaywant Bansode, Ratnamala Sandeep Satav, and Tripti Santosh Bharane. During the interaction, citizens openly shared their concerns regarding basic amenities, civic facilities, infrastructure challenges, and everyday difficulties faced in the locality.

The candidates assured residents that all the issues and suggestions raised would be addressed in a phased and well-planned manner. Emphasising the importance of public participation, Surendra Pathare stated that development plans become more effective when shaped through active citizen involvement.

Strong Public Support for the Bharatiya Janata Party

The BJP–RPI alliance padayatras being conducted across the Kharadi–Wagholi region, including Ward No. 04, are receiving an encouraging response from citizens.

During interactions, residents were appealed to extend their support in the January 15 elections by voting for Shailjit Jaywant Bansode from Group A, Ratnamala Sandeep Satav from Group B, Tripti Santosh Bharane from Group C, and Surendra Bapusahaeb Pathare from Group D, by pressing the Lotus symbol on the ballot.
