Pune: We will publicise Sharad Pawar’s misdeeds, announces BJP City Unit President Dheeraj Ghate
Pune: BJP City Unit President Dheeraj Ghate has announced that BJP workers will spread the word about NCP (SP) President Sharad Pawar’s misdeeds.
Announcing the party’s plan in a press release, Ghate said, “Sharad Pawar has done nothing for Maharashtra when he was Union Agriculture Minister and also when he was at the helm in the State. On the contrary, he has damaged the State by playing the role of a spoiler regarding development and social harmony in Maharashtra.
“Sharad Pawar is the leader of corrupt people and he institutionalised irregularities as accused by Union Minister Amit Shah. BJP workers will raise awareness about this in every ward in the city.”
Ghate said that the misinformation that Pawar spread during the Lok Sabha elections will be replied to and publicised. “A panchnama will be conducted on what Pawar did for Maharashtra during the UPA government’s tenure. Union Minister Shah has appealed to him for a public debate at any chowk in Pune. Pawar should take up the challenge if he has guts. If he fails to do this, Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol will expose him and party workers will spread the word in every ward in the city,” said Ghate in the press release.
Ghate alleged that the issues of milk powder import and tax on sugar mills are pending because of Sharad Pawar only. His stand on the Maratha reservation is also doubtful.
