Pune: Wife Plotted Husband’s Murder With the Help of Boyfriend Under the Guise of Robbery; Police Detained Two

What initially seemed like a robbery-motivated murder took a shocking turn as police uncovered that the victim’s wife, in collaboration with her alleged boyfriend, orchestrated the murder of her driver husband. In this regard, Warje Malwadi Police have arrested the victim’s wife and her boyfriend.
The murdered individual has been identified as Amol Pandharinath Nivangune (age 42, a resident of Phulashree Society, Karve Nagar). Amol Nivangune was working as a driver. He is survived by three daughters and a wife.
As per the police information, the Amol Nivangune’s wife complained at Warje Malwadi police station that a few accused had knocked on their house around 1 a.m. at midnight. When Amol opened the door, the assailants brutally stabbed him with sharp weapons and absconded by taking jewellery, cash income, and valuable goods from the house.
Meanwhile, when Warje Police and the Pune Police Crime Branch team reached Amol’s house to investigate about the incident, they got suspicious over Amol’s wife’s account, seeing the overall situation of the house. When they investigated deeply into the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam informed that they found that Amol’s wife had planned the murder of her husband with her boyfriend.
In this regard, police have arrested Amol’s wife and her boyfriend, and police are investigating further.
