Pune: Woman kills husband with the help of lover, Loni Kalbhor Police crack case within few hours

Pune: A woman, along with her lover, killed her husband, who was proving a hurdle in their illicit relationship.
The victim has been identified as Ravindra Kashinath Kalbhor (45), resident of Loni Kalbhor. The police arrested Shobha Ravindra Kalbhor (42) and Gorakh Tryambak Kalbhor (41).
Ravindra Kalbhor was a farmer. The police control room on Tuesday (April 1) morning got a call that a person was lying injured at Vadale Vasti on Raiwadi Road in Loni Kalbhor.
The police reached the spot and found that the person was killed due to an injury made with a weapon in his head.
The Loni Kalbhor Police enquired in the nearby area under the guidance of DCP Dr Rajkumar Shinde. They came to know that Ravindra Kalbhor’s wife Shobha had an illicit relationship with Gorakh Kalbhor. Both were detained and interrogated.
The accused killed Ravindra Kalbhor by assaulting him with a weapon in his head at 11 pm on March 31 when he was sleeping outside his home. Though the offence was complicated and complex, the Loni Kalbhor Police solved it within three hours and arrested the accused.
DCP Dr Rajkumar Shinde, ACP Anuradha Udmale and Sr PI Rajendra Panhale guided the operation. It was conducted by PI Anil Jadhav, PSI Uday Kalbhor, Sarjerao Bobade, Ratnadeep Birajdar, Digambar Sontakke, Puja Mali, police personnel Devikar Shinde, Vanave, Naglot, Memane, Veer, Shirgire, Kardile, Gade, Kumbhar, Sonawane, Bankar, Jojare, Dhumal and women police personnel Navale, Hole and Usha Thorat.
