Pune: Woman putting lemon, coconut for black magic in front of former Mayor Dattatraya Dhankawade’s bungalow arrested
Pune: A woman put a lemon, a coconut and black powder, used in black magic, in front of former Mayor and close aide of DyCM Ajit Pawar Dattatraya Dhakawande’s bungalow.
An offence was registered under section 3 of the Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act. Vivek Namdev Patil lodged a complaint in this connection.
According to the police, the woman was placing a coconut, a lemon, an egg, black powder, etc, in front of people’s houses on the occasion of Amavasya (new moon) in Dhankawadi. Similarly, she places such things in front of Dattatraya Dhankawade’s house on March 29. Local residents spotted her and reported the matter to the police. Thus, she was arrested and the offence was registered at the Sahakar Nagar Police Station.
