Pune: Yerawada Police Took Public Shaming Parade of Notorious Criminals in Vehicle Vandalism Case

Pune: The Yerawada police have arrested five notorious criminals who have created terror in the area by striking windows and damaging four-wheeler cars, and they also took out a public shaming parade of the accused. At that time, police also warned of more stringent action against criminals.

In this regard, Ranjit Angat Pande (age 40), a resident of Mundhwa, registered a police complaint at Yerawada police station. Accordingly, police detained Sachin Kakasaheb Kamble (20), Ahmad Hanif Shaikh (20), Aman Maula Pinjari (19), Azar Arif Syed (19), and Ibrahim Taiyyab Bashoeb (20), all residents of Ambedkar Nagar, Yerawada.

As per the police complaint, Ranjit Pande was returning home after dropping his sister off at Pune airport at midnight on August 20. At that time, the five accused stopped the plaintiff’s car at Ambedkar Nagar and smashed the window of his car. The frightened plaintiff bravely took his car out of the area and informed the police control room about the incident.

Accordingly, police conducted a detailed investigation into the case and detained five accused. The senior police inspector, Ravindra Shelke, and his colleagues handcuffed the accused and took their public shaming parade from the area. The police further warned the accused of more stringent action if a similar incident took place in the area again.
