Pune: Yerwada Police Took Public Shaming Parade of Notorious Criminals To Quell Fear of Terror Amongst Residents
Pune: Recently, three accused vandalised multiple vehicles in Jay Prakash Nagar and attempted to kill one individual in the anger of the murder of one accused. After this incident, residents of the area were under constant fear.
To quell the terror of these miscreants, Yerawada police recently took a public shaming parade of these three accused from Jay Prakash Nagar by taking these accused to the spot where these criminals committed crimes.
The police took Satish Chandrakant More (age-27), Kaluram Sukhdev Londhe (age-35), and Moreshwar Somnath Londhe (age-19), all three residents of Vitthalnagar, Pashan, to the spot of the crime and investigated them regarding the crime.
As per the police information, three accused created terror in the Jay Prakash Nagar area of Yerawada after one of their accomplices was murdered. The accused vandalised multiple vehicles in anger and injured Praveen Kamble.
The Yerawada police have started various measures to break the atmosphere of increasing crime and terror in the Yerawada area. Earlier, in Panchasheel Nagar, criminals were also booked for creating terror with weapons. The police also said that strict legal measures will be taken continuously to curb the scourge of criminal tendencies in the coming years.
Ravindra Shelke, Senior Police Inspector of Yerawada Police Station, has appealed to the citizens to contact the Yerawada Police immediately if they find illegal businesses or persons with criminal tendencies within the limits of Yerawada Police Station, as well as if they require legal assistance.
Meanwhile, citizens are expressing their satisfaction over this action taken by Yerawada police to subjugate the terror of these criminals.
