Punit Balan Group distributes 1,000 helmets in Pune, in cooperation with Pune Police, Pune Traffic Police and RTO, Pune (Video)
Pune: Punit Balan Group (PBG) conducted a drive on road safety and to encourage two-wheelers to ride safely from August 21 to 24 in the city. Under the drive, helmets were distributed and traffic awareness was spread.
PBG, in cooperation with the Pune Police, the Pune Traffic Police and the RTO, Pune, distributed 1,000 helmets. Addl CP Manoj Patil inaugurated the drive at Council Hall Chowk. ACP Nikam, DCP Sandeep Singh Gill, Col Mahadev and API Prasad Dongre were present.
On the second day, DCP Himmat Jadhav inaugurated the drive at Shastri Chowk in Yerwada. Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi, Sr PI Arvind Gokule, ACP Pranjali Sonawane and Sr PI Ravindra Shelke were present.
On the third day, ACP Anuja Deshmane and PI Minal Supe Patil inaugurated the drive at Bremen Chowk. Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi was present.
On the concluding day, a ceremony was held at Sarasbaug, where API Shobha Kshirsagar, Asst Motor Vehicle Inspector Sarla Suryavanshi, Financial Fitness Coach Sudhir Khot, Pune City Boxing Association Secretary Madan Wani and Rotarian Sheetal Shah, Rotary District Governor, Pune, were present.
Volunteers belonging to Viman Nagar Women’s Club, Rotary Club of Pune, Inner Wheel Club of Poona Downtown, Rotary Club of Poona Downtown, Rotary E-Club of Pune Diamond, ABP Women’s Club, Dhruv Defence Motivation Centre, Star Boxing Academy and Antarnath Social Foundation participated actively in the drive.
