Punit Balan Group organises Fourth ‘Friendship Trophy’ 2025 Cricket Championship Tournament
Samarth Challengers, Gajar Supernovas, Nadbrahma Sarvavadak, Shivmudra Blasters, Mahalaxmi Mavericks, Ramanbaug Fighters head for knock-out round
Pune: Samarth Challengers, Gajar Supernovas, Nadbrahma Sarvavadak, Shivmudra Blasters, Mahalaxmi Mavericks, Ramanbaug Fighters moved to the knock-out round by defeating their rival teams on the fifth day of the Fourth ‘Friendship Trophy’ 2025 Cricket Championship Tournament organised by Punit Balan Group (PBG) for teams represented by city-based Ganpati mandals, Navratra mandals and Dhol-Tasha pathaks.
The matches are being played at the LR Shinde High School Ground in Sahakar Nagar. Samarth Challengers defeated Nadbrahma Drummers by 47 runs. Prasad Kachi played a knock of 43 runs for the winners. Rishi Bibawe’s all-round performance saw his team emerge victorious by nine wickets against Gajar Supernovas. Nadbramha Sarvavadak won against Garud Strikers by nine wickets due to an unbeaten knock of 82 runs by Rohan Pawar.
Shivmudra Blasters trounced HTM Tigers by 56 runs on the basis of Rupak Tubaji’s 86 runs. Mahalaxmi Mavericks decimated Mandai Masters by nine wickets following Abhijit Desai’s all-round play. Ramanbaug Fighters defeated Tulshibaug Tuskers by five wickets due to brilliant batting by Viraj Raut.
