Retaliation for Last Year’s Abuse: Two Assault Man by Hitting Stone in Shewalewadi
Pune: Over the incident of abuse in the October month of last year, two people injured the person by throwing a big stone on his head. This incident took place on the road near Shewalewadi Phata at 8.15 p.m. on Friday night.
In this regard, Gaurav Santosh Adsul (age 20, a resident of Shivchaitanya Colony, Shewalewadi) has filed a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a complaint against Manik alias Bablya Nagesh Sagar (a resident of Kalepadal) and Ravi Chorle (a resident of Fursungi).
As per the police information, both the plaintiff and the accused have been acquainted with each other. However, some argument broke between them last year, in which the plaintiff gave curse words and abused the accused. Harbouring that anger, the accused targeted the plaintiff on Friday night, when the plaintiff was returning to his house.
The accused stopped the plaintiff on the road near Shewalewadi Phata and started assaulting him with hands and legs over the reason of last year’s abuse. Further, one of the accused, Manik Sagar, picked up a stone of the road and hit on the plaintiff’s head. In that, the plaintiff received heavy injuries.
Police sub-inspector Jadhav is investigating further into the case.
