School-Going Student Contracted Girl’s Torture and Murder to Another Student Over Complaint to Teacher in Daund; School Attempts Cover-Up

A perturbing incident took place in an English medium school in Daund, Pune district, where a school-going student had contracted another student to torture and kill her classmate over the anger of the student’s complaint to the teacher. The accused student has given Rs 100 to another student for torturing and killing his classmate.

Shockingly, it is learnt that the school administration tried to suppress the matter. This incident took place on January 22 in an English medium school in Daund.

According to the information, the accused students forged his parent’s signature on the report card, which was seen by his classmate. Accordingly, the girl student informed the teacher about it. Enraged by this, the student asked a 9th-grade student to torture and kill the girl who had informed the teacher by paying him Rs 100.

Fortunately, the student told the girl about this incident. The girl immediately informed her parents at home. After that, the parents of the girl asked the school principal, class teacher, and the concerned teacher about this. However, after not getting a proper answer, the girl’s family directly filed a complaint at the Daund police station.

After that, a case has been registered against the principal, Demolo Jovin, the class teacher, and another teacher in this case. The complaint states that the school administration tried to suppress the incident and inflicted mental harassment on the girl. This affected the girl’s academic performance.

After this incident came to light, various experts and parents have expressed their concerns on such serious issues. They have demanded strict enforcement of rules and a conducive environment for students’ overall development in the school.
