Shocking Daylight Assault in Wagholi; Group of Nine to Ten Individuals Assaulted Young Man With Machete

In a shocking incident, a group of a few individuals openly assaulted a young man with a machete near the Bajartal on Wagholi Awhalwadi Road and injured him. Further, the accused also brandished their weapons in the air to create terror in the area.

In this regard, Aditya Deepak Kamble (age 18, a resident of Wagholi) lodged a police complaint at Lonikand Police Station. Accordingly, police have arrested Om Dadarao Maske (age 19, a resident of Dube Nagar, Wagholi) and booked his other accomplices, including Yash Manik Shirsath (a resident of Awhalwadi), Nikhil Kamble (a resident of J.J. Nagar, Wagholi), Karan Chavan (a resident of Katkewadi), Prasad Maske, Sahil Rathod, Prathamesh Shrikhande, and two other individuals.

This incident took place near Bajartal on Wagholi Awhalwadi Road at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

As per the police information, the accused Om Maske and the plaintiff Aditya Kamble had an earlier argument between them. Having the grudges of the earlier animosity, the accused Om Maske stopped the vehicles of Aditya Kamble and his friend Rohan Jadhav on Tuesday afternoon and injured the plaintiff by assaulting him with a machete on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, other accomplices of the accused chased the plaintiff and threatened and abused him. After that, the accused brandished their weapons in the air and fled from the scene by creating terror in the area. The police have lodged a complaint against the accused, and the police constable, Morale, is conducting further investigation in this regard.
