Shocking Late-Night Gunfire in Dehu Road: Criminal Opens Fire Over Intervention in Dispute, Police Arrest Four

Pune : In a shocking incident, a recidivist criminal allegedly fired bullets towards individuals after they tried to intervene in disputes. In this regard, Malik Kumar Indra (age 18, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Dehu Road) has filed a complaint at the Dehu Road police station.

Based on this, the Dehu Road police have arrested Sabeer Sameer Sheikh (age 24), Faizal Khan (age 24), Johnny, alias Saiteja Chintamalla (age 24), and Abhishek Reddy (age 24), all residents of Dehu Road. A case has also been registered against Saqib Jilani and Dishan Kanekar. This incident took place on the road in front of the Ganpati temple in Ambedkar Nagar at 11:30 p.m. on February 13.

As per the police information, the plaintiff and his friend Sai Bhim Reddy had gone to their friend Nandkishor Yadav’s house on the occasion of his birthday. After the birthday party, they were talking with each other outside the pandal. At this time, the accused came there on two bikes and started abusing and assaulting Nandkishor Yadav.

Seeing this, the complainant and his friend Sai intervened to resolve their dispute. However, after that, the accused assaulted the complainant and his friends Sai Reddy and Rajkumar Yadav with their hands and legs. Meanwhile, Sabeer Sheikh threatened the plaintiff, saying that he had just been acquitted from the stringent MCOCA Act, showing his criminal background, and threatened to kill the plaintiff.

After that, he went inside the house and brought a pistol. Seeing this, the plaintiff and his friend started running from there. At that time, Sabeer Sheikh fired bullets towards them and attempted to kill them.

Assistant Police Inspector Zoheb Shaikh is investigating further in this case.
