Shocking Murder in Maval: Man Kills Brother-in-Law Over Alcohol Dispute
Pune: A shocking incident has come to light from Maval, where a young man has killed his own brother-in-law by crushing him with a stone in a fight over money for alcohol consumption. In this regard, the Talegaon MIDC Police have arrested the accused, Promod Kumar Jagansada (age 22, a resident of Som Project, ITI College Kamgar Vasahat, Nanoli, Taluka Maval).
The murdered Bihari worker has been identified as Abhinand Niresa Daha (age 29, a resident of Som Project, ITI College Kamgar Vasahat, Nanoli, Taluka Maval). In this regard, police officer Keshav Ghotkar has filed a complaint at Talegaon MIDC police station.
Abhinand is the husband of Promod’s sister, and both of them had been living in the Kamgar Vasahat of Som Project in Nanoli for the past few months due to work. Police informed that Abhinand Niresa Daha used to drink alcohol and abuse people. Further, he was also fighting and assaulting others.
A few days ago, an argument took place between Promod and Abhinand over alcohol money. In the fit of anger, Promod killed Abhinand by hitting a big stone on his head and face.
In this regard, a citizen informed the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Control Room about the incident at around 7 a.m. on Monday. After that, when the police went to the Kamgar Vasahat in Nanoli, they found that Abhinand was murdered. Senior Police Inspector Ranjit Jadhav is investigating further into the case.
