Situation is very serious in Parbhani, take note carefully: Sharad Pawar to Devendra Fadnavis
Pune: NCP (SP) President Sharad Pawar visited Parbhani recently in the backdrop of tension in the area. He said, “The situation in Parbhani is very serious in the backdrop of Massajog sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh’s murder. I met the Deshmukh family at their village. I called up Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and told him that the situation is very serious. He should take note carefully.”
Pawar addressed the media after visiting Bhimthadi Jatra organised at Sinchan Nagar in the city on Sunday (December 22). Sunanda Pawar was present. He said, “Bhimthadi Jatra is dedicated to preserve the rural heritage while the exhibition is innovative. It has not only narrowed the divide between the city and rural areas but also empowered rural communities, particularly women entrepreneurs.”
Later, he called up the Chief Minister. He told Fadnavis that the 98th Marathi Literary Meet would be held in Delhi on February 21. He invited the CM for the meet and asked him that he would fulfil the expectation of all writers, literary figures by attending the convention. The CM accepted his invitation. The meet would last for three days.
