State Cabinet’s vital decisions for Satara, Pune districts
Mumbai: The State Cabinet’s meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday (February 4). Important decisions were made in the meeting, which took place in the State Cabinet Auditorium in Mantralaya. DyCM Eknath Shinde and DyCM Ajit Pawar were present.
An administrative approval was given to an expenditure, as a special case, amounting to Rs 315.05 crore for plugging leakages and strengthening of the Temghar Dam in Mulshi taluka of Pune district. Similarly, Rs 170 crore was sanctioned, as a special case, for 25 projects of submerging weirs in the Koyna reservoir in Mahabaleshwar and Jawali talukas of Satara district.
Meanwhile, the Abhay Yojana was extended for another year by the State Cabinet. Under the Yojana, when land parcels such as those meant for the agricultural, non-agricultural, residential, commercial or industrial purposes and also Occupant Class 2 land given to cooperative housing societies on lease or on occupant rights are converted to Occupant Class 1, the appreciation value is charged less than the usual.
