Tarkarli Beach Incident: Two Youngsters from Hadapsar Drown, Another in Critical Condition

In a distressing incident, two young individuals, who had gone to Tarkarli beach, drowned in the seawater, whereas the other accomplice of theirs is undergoing treatment in the hospital. This incident took place on Saturday morning around 11:20 a.m. near Tarkarli MTDC beach.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Rohit Balasaheb Koli (age 21) and Shubham Sunil Sonawane (age 22), whereas Omkar Ashok Bhosale (age 24) is taking treatment at the hospital. As per the information, Kush Santosh Gadre (age 21), Rohan Ramdas Dombale (age 20), Rohit Koli, Shubham Sonawane, and Omkar Bhosale had gone to the beach at Tarkarli Tourism Development Corporation.
At that time, they all entered the beach for a morning bath. However, due to a lack of knowledge of the depth of water and the sudden arrival of tide water, Omkar Bhosle, Rohit Koli, and Shubham Sonawane were dragged inside the water. At that time, local residents as well as tourism professionals on the beach immediately started rescue operations in the seawater. With the help of the boatman, rescue work was started.
Finally, three individuals were found to local rescue experts in a drowning state. Following their rescue, these individuals were immediately taken to the hospital and admitted to the government hospital. Meanwhile, Rohit Koli and Shubham Sonawane were declared dead by the doctors upon their arrival. Omkar Bhosle has been alive and is taking further treatment in the hospital.
Sameer Govekar, Vaibhav Sawant, Dattaraj Chavan, Mahendra Chavan, and employees of Ranjeshwar Water Sports were involved in the rescue operation. Malvan police are investigating the matter further.
