TikTok Maulana alias Abdul Rashid alias Miftahi Qalandar Khan, three others booked under MPID Act in Rs 1.16 crore cheating case in Kondhwa

Pune: A Rs 1.16-crore cheating case has come to light, in which 2 pc to 3 pc returns were promised per month on investment in Saad Motors, Mitha Nagar.
Nissar Abdul Shaikh (55), a resident of Hadapsar, lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa Police Station. Rafiq Qalandar Khan (44), Sanobar alias Sauda Rafiq Khan (40), Isa Rafiq Khan (23) and TikTok Maulana alias Abdul Rashid alias Miftahi Qalandar Khan (48), all residents of Kondhwa Khurd have been booked. The incident took place from 2020 till date.
According to the police, Saad Motors has its office at Mitha Nagar. The accused lured the complainant to invest in Saad Motors by promising 2 pc to 3 pc returns on investment. Thus, the complainant, along with Aniket Gaikwad, Hamid Babulal Shaikh, Julekha Samir Shaikh, Aziz Rajubhai Mulani, Sandip Badhe, Jahangir Pathan, Vishal Chavan and Samir Razzak Shaikh totally invested Rs 1,16,93,500. The accused neither paid the interest nor returned the principal amount in the past four years.
Finally, the investors approached the police. The police registered a case under the MPID Act. PI Patil is investigating further.
