Traffic Changes in Balewadi Area on Saturday Due to ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ Program

Pune: In the monsoon session, the state government announced the much-lauded ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ to give monthly 1500 rupees to eligible women in the state. The first installment of this scheme will be deposited in the women’s bank account on the day of Rakshabandhan.

In this regard, a state-level event will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi to deposit the amount of ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ in the bank accounts of the beneficiary women in representative form. Therefore, the traffic in the Balewadi area has changed.

Various dignitaries, such as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, along with many ministers and important persons and a large number of citizens, will be present for tomorrow’s event. In this background, the traffic in the Balewadi area has been diverted.

Access to the service road from Radha Chowk near Balewadi Sports Complex to the Mula River Bridge has been blocked. Only event vehicles and essential service vehicles will be able to travel through this route.

As vehicles are being parked in Buntara Bhavan and surrounding areas in Balewadi, the entry of heavy and bulky vehicles has been banned on the road to the parking place. Event vehicles and passenger buses will be able to ply through this route. This change will be from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
