Yet another BJP leader likely to join NCP (SP)

Pandharpur: Political atmosphere in the State is heating up in the backdrop of the Assembly elections. Aspirants are looking for opportunities. It is said that former MLA Prashant Paricharak is likely to join the NCP (SP).

Paricharak’s role is at a decisive stage. He recently attended a BJP workers meeting in Kolhapur, where it became clear that he would not leave the party. However, he indicated his changed stance at his followers’ meeting in Jalihal.

He told his workers that he respected their sentiments and sought some time to take the final decision. He said, “Your sentiments will induce me to make a decision. I am dependent on my workers in my public life. Therefore, I will consider your views. But since this is Pitru Paksha (not an auspicious period), I will decide in 4-5 days.”
