Yogi Pattern in Pune: Illegal houses of criminals to be bulldozed
Pune: Illegal homes of criminals are flattened by the police and the local administration in Uttar Pradesh. The Pune Police are ready to implement the pattern to rein in history sheeters in the city. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar revealed this.
In Uttar Pradesh, details of houses of criminals involved in serious crimes are collected. If their houses are built without the permission of the local administration, they are demolished. The ‘bulldozer action’ has become very popular across the country. CP Amitesh Kumar has resolved to control activities of criminals by executing the ‘bulldozer pattern’.
CP Kumar said, “If criminals are ruffians, then the police cannot be gentle with them. We will demonstrate this. Illegal houses of criminals will be bulldozed. The police have started gathering details about this. Action will be taken under the rules.”
Till date, the police collected details only about a hardened criminal. They would find out his residence and his track record, his accomplices, etc. Now, they will find out the owner of the house he stays in. They will also take details from the civic body if his house is legal or not.
Bulldozer action is likely to start with the accused in the Vanraj Andekar murder case. At present, the police force is busy in providing security during the Ganesh Festival. They will collect these details about criminals during this time. Action could be launched immediately after Ganeshotsav. The measure will be taken to crack down on criminals.
