You will not regret having elected me: Chandrakant Patil assures Kothrud residents

Pune: Kothrud MLA and State Minister Chandrakant Patil on Monday (December 23) assured citizens from his constituency that they would not regret having elected him.
He said, “Kothrud residents love me a lot. Hence, I could be elected with a margin of over one lakh votes. I will not shut anything that is useful for you. I swear that I will not make you regret having voted for me.
“In some constituencies, representatives disappear for four years after they are elected. I will not do so. I have already started working for you. I am visiting housing societies and clusters. I will double the speed of development.”
Patil was felicitated by BJP workers in Kothrud after he was named the Higher and Technical Education Minister.
Project for patients
Patil said, “We are launching a project for bed-ridden patients from January 15. A similar plan was started in Kolhapur. It will begin in Sanjeevan Hospital in Pune. It will have 50 such beds.”
‘I follow the party organisation’
Patil said that the Chief Minister and his two colleagues would decide on the District Guardian Minister’s post. He said, “I always follow the party’s orders. I was told to visit Pune. I am here. The party leadership will decide if I should serve as the Guardian Minister in Pune or elsewhere. I have already worked in Amravati and Solapur districts. I implemented party orders.”
