Young Man from Jogeshwari Ended His Life Amidst Online Blackmailing from a Woman; Jogeshwari Police Filed Complaint
Mumbai : A startling incident has come to light from Mumbai’s Jogeshwari area, where a 28-year-old young man has ended his life by cutting himself with a knife after being blackmailed by a young woman he met on Instagram. The name of the young man who committed suicide is Sachin Meghji Gala (age 28). He was living in the Jogeshwari area of Mumbai.
Interestingly, the woman with whom Sachin was talking on Instagram app never met to the deceased Sachin Gala. Even though she had not gone for a walk with him, the young woman blackmailed Sachin by saying that she was pregnant from him. The young man, frustrated with this harassment by the young woman, ended his life.
As per the information, a few days ago, the deceased, Sachin Gala, was introduced to a young woman named Muskan on Instagram. The two used to chat a lot. Later, this acquaintance turned into a close friendship. Both were in contact with each other through social media.
Notably, despite their good friendship on social media, the two had neither gone anywhere with each other even once nor had a physical relationship. Moreover, they did not even meet each other once. However, still, for the past few days, the young woman had been blackmailing Sachin, saying that she was pregnant from him.
Unable to bear this mental stress, Sachin finally tried to commit suicide by slashing a knife on his neck in his residential house on February 26. After that, he was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital initially and later to Seven Hill Hospital for further treatment. However, Sachin died on March 4 during treatment.
A case has been registered against the woman in this regard at Jogeshwari Police Station. The police are investigating the incident further.
