A case has been registered against the doctor concerned at the Yerwada Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C9wUaBApOCS\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social workers Dadasaheb and Ritesh Gaikwad laid a trap and exposed the inhuman practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Social worker suspects foul play<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A patient admitted by Dadasaheb disappeared from the premises of the Sassoon Hospital. He suspected foul play. Hence, he set a trap, along with Ritesh. They admitted a patient to the hospital. Ritesh was waiting outside the hospital in the wee hours. A doctor identified as Adi came along with the patient, took the auto-rickshaw and left the patient at an isolated place. They went in a car with a hospital staffer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later, the complainant approached the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ritesh said, \u201cWe look after the destitute in our Ashram through the Rugna Adhar Foundation. We came to know that doctors from the Sassoon Hospital were leaving destitute patients at remote places without treating them. We were watching their activities for the past couple of months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was waiting outside the hospital when Dr Adi came there and was searching for a particular auto-rickshaw driver. He told Ritesh that it was a big hassle to look after and treat a destitute.
