Pune: There are likely to be differences within the Maha Yuti over seat-sharing for the State Assembly elections. Its first spark is likely to be triggered in Indapur. Patil\u2019s daughter Ankita has said that her father will definitely contest the election. But she refused to comment on how he would do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said, \u201cInjustice was done to us thrice in the past. But this time, my father is determined to contest the poll.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sitting MLA Datta Bharne defeated Harshvardhan in the last Assembly election. Bharne represents the NCP (AP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ankita Patil said, \u201cWorkers from Indapur are dear to us. We have not decided yet. Injustice was done to us thrice. Seat-sharing has not been done yet. But it is important. Indapur taluka was progressing till 2014. Now, it has regressed by 20 years. There is only corruption and no development. Crime has gone up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHarshvardhan Patil will contest the election. It is 100 pc sure. But how he will do it\u2026cannot be said now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018We will accept the decision made by Devendra Fadnavis\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harshvardhan Patil said, \u201cIt is confirmed that the Maha Yuti will contest the State Elections. But a final decision regarding the Indapur seat has not been made. Our senior leaders will work out the seat-sharing. Workers have expressed their feelings. It is their democratic right. We decided before the Lok Sabha elections that Devendra Fadnavis will make a final decision. Discussions have not taken place. Injustice has been done to our workers for the past 10 years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Party leadership has promised us\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harshvardhan Patil said, \u201cIndapur taluka has a lot of political influence. Voters are smart here. They express their views clearly. There is no pressure on anybody. I have not yet analysed why our workers want me to contest as an independent. I will hear them out. We trust our party leadership. They have made a promise to us. I have nothing to share with you as nothing has been decided yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThough I have not held any constitutional post for the past 10 years, I work at the grassroots daily. I got some development projects sanctioned six months ago. They will be inaugurated.
