Mumbai: The Maha Yuti conducted a State Assembly election survey. It is the second such survey done by the Shiv Sena (BT). A survey finding claims that the Maha Yuti has favourable conditions in 177 seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Lok Sabha election results portrayed a gloomy picture for the Maha Yuti. However, the survey finding should serve as a shot in the arm for the ruling alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Maha Yuti government announced two popular schemes \u2013 Mukhyamantri Mazi Ladki Bahin Yojana and Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana \u2013 in the annual State Budget 2024-25. Eligible women will get Rs 1,500 per month under the Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under the Annapurna Yojana, an eligible family will get three cooking gas cylinders free. These schemes are likely to give an advantage to the ruling alliance in the State Assembly elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The survey claims that these schemes have had a positive effect for the Maha Yuti. Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena (BT) has started division-wise and district-wise final poll meetings. The party reviewed segments in the Konkan region on August 10, western Maharashtra on August 11, Ch. Sambhajinagar and Nashik on August 12 and Vidarbha on August 13. Assembly seats under the Thane and Palghar Lok Sabha constituencies will be reviewed on August 14. Area-wise meetings are underway in Mumbai too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Appeal to avoid rebellion<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though the conditions favour the Maha Yuti in 177 segments, it will face a major challenge due to rebellion. The three alliance partners will have to do a tightrope walk while fixing candidates by persuading aspirants. Those aspirants who would not get party tickets may cross over to the opposition alliance. It remains to be seen what strategy the Maha Yuti leaders adopt to curb dissent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The RSS will campaign for the BJP<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was said that there was no coordination between the BJP and RSS during the Lok Sabha elections. Hence, the Maha Yuti got less seats. But it is learnt that the RSS will campaign for the BJP during the State Assembly elections. RSS General Secretary Atul Limaye has the responsibility to coordinate.
