In the stealing cases of expensive remote radio units from mobile company towers, Sahakar Nagar police had earlier arrested two accused. Now, in this case, police also apprehended one more individual and the accomplices of the two accused and seized goods worth Rs 5.7 lakh from him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The name of the third thief is Dilshad Mohammad Rafiq (age 32, a resident of Kulutsav Society, Khadi Machine Chowk, Kondhwa, and an original native of Uttar Pradesh).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the information provided by the police, the mobile company had installed mobile towers at Kedar Apartment and Saikrupa Society in Sambhaji Nagar in Dhankawadi. A company installed a total of 9 remote radio units for the 4G network on this tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, a few accused snaffled these expensive remote radio units. In this case, the police had earlier arrested Akshay Shantaram Bodke (age 26, a resident of Indira Nagar, Bibwewadi) and Ashish Ashok Shinde (age 39, a resident of Papal Vasti, Bibwewadi). However, one more accomplice successfully managed to escape from the police arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Tuesday, when Police Ammaldar Sagar Sutkar was patrolling in the Sahakar Nagar police station limits for Dahi Handi, he received information that one of the accused in the remote radio unit stealing case would come near the junk shop next to K.K. market with a stolen remote radio machine in a sack for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accordingly, the officers and enforcers of the investigation team went there and arrested Dilshad Rafiq on the instructions of Senior Police Inspector Chhagan Kapse. In the investigation, the accused confessed to committing the crime along with accomplices Akshay Bodke and Ashish Shinde, who were earlier arrested by police. The police also seized goods worth Rs 5 lakh 70 thousand from the accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
