Today, on the occasion of the auspicious Dasara Mahotsav, Manoj Jarange Patil held a ‘Dasara Melawa’ at Narayangad in Beed district. Through this gathering, Jarange once again issued a strong challenge to the Mahayuti government, urging them to take a decision on the Maratha reservation before the announcement of the election code of conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his address, Jarange expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s inaction on the Maratha reservation issue, which has been the subject of agitation for the past 14 months. “The government has not accepted our demand in these 14 months. But now, we will see the government. The decision on the Maratha reservation must be made before the code of conduct is implemented,” Jarange declared in front of a large gathering of Maratha community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a stern warning, Jarange also stated that if the government tries to subvert their cause, he would not hesitate to take further action. “If the government does anything wrong, I will not back down unless this government is overturned,” he said, indicating his intent to continue the fight. He added, “I will announce my next steps after the code of conduct is implemented.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Appealing to the Maratha community, Jarange urged them to stand united and listen carefully to his next announcement. He remarked, “This community has always been united, respectful, and inclusive. The Maratha community, spread across the state, has never practiced casteism or insulted anyone based on caste. We have always worked for the well-being of everyone.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jarange expressed his overwhelming gratitude towards the crowd that gathered at Narayangad. “I did not expect such a massive turnout. Seeing this for the first time, I don\u2019t know what to say. I should actually bow down at your feet for this support. Narayangad has taught us not to engage in casteism. The one blessed by this fort even makes Delhi bow before him,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He reiterated his frustration with the government’s lack of action. “The agitation for reservation has been going on for 14 months, but not a single demand has been met. I have one message for the government: if they don\u2019t fulfil our demands, we will overturn this government. Every issue should be resolved before the code of conduct is announced,” Jarange said, calling for urgent action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Looking ahead, Jarange hinted at a decisive move once the election process begins. “Remember this\u2014if nothing happens by the time the code of conduct is implemented, I will reveal my next course of action. You all should support me. They have deceived us, and we won\u2019t be quiet anymore,” he emphasised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
